Above are GASPARD AND LISA, the stars of the brand-new series we're co-producing with Chorion Silver Lining Productions. Comprising of 50 x 11'00" episodes, plus 1 x 22'00" special, the pre-school series is based on the Gaspard et Lisa books written by Anne Gutman and illustrated by Georg Hallensleben, published by Hachette Livre. The show follows the adventures of six year-old best friends Gaspard and Lisa, and is made in beautiful high-definition 3D CG, mixing paint textures with incredibly detailed locations to create a unique look.GASPARD AND LISA is our first pre-school series using real children as lead voiceovers, and newcomers Connor Fitzgerald and Kisholi Perera-Merry are superb as our main characters, as well as a supporting cast of over twenty other voice artists. The series is in production all this year, with Kitty Taylor directing and Alison Ray series producing, and is being animated in-house in the UK by Impossible.

New series on air!

Castle Farm is on air now, transmitting at 8:50am every weekday. Join Farm Girl, Piggy, Farmer and all the gang every morning on Milkshake! We've made twenty-five perfectly formed five-minute episodes, each packed to the gills with fun and laughter. Five's Head of Children's Programming Nick Wilson says "Castle Farm has a unique look, feel and style! Corrina Askin's wonderful drawings have been brought to brilliant life by a team of talented writers and animators. It's a whimsical and charming new series." We couldn't agree with Nick more!

Revised Reel

End of 2009

Hello! A quick note from the Impossible televisio-movie complex to say there's a new(ish) showreel on the REEL link above, highlighting a more varied selection of our projects. It also has the per-minute cost on it, accountancy fans.

Autumn Update

September 2009

Apologies for the lack of updates here, it's been a very busy time for us at Impossible. Castle Farm continues apace, and is looking absolutely great. With the superb vocal performances from Kate O'Sullivan, Bob Golding, Simon Mattocks, and starring Chloe Angharrad as Farmgirl and Laura May Alsop as her best friend Piggy. The stories are beautifully accompanied by Gareth Cousins' fabulous score, and the series is shaping up to be an undoubted hit.

In non-TV news, our first ever feature film script is with the commissioning body right now. Very exiting for us here!

And we've started production of possibly our biggest ever series, a major international project that has meant new offices, new staff and new challenges. More news on that very soon!

Imagine being able to be able to get yourself into whatever is on your TV set - that's the fantastical premise behind TERRY VISION, a 52 x 11 minute animated series for 6-12 year olds, packed full of comedy, action, adventure and drama. Every episode features Terry in a brand-new TV show, from a sci-fi series to a classic western, as a superhero or in an ad as a sports personality selling track shoes, from reality programmes through sitcoms, sports, gameshows, movies, news, documentaries, factual shows and even other cartoons! Terry is stuck in at the deep end, no idea where he is, with only his wits to guide him. It also gives us a great opportunity for humour, in the form of spoof TV programmes that our audience will know and love. The scenarios are as varied as every TV show on every channel ever!

Below we see Terry when he's inside a talent show and expected to sing. Gulp!
